Golf first arrived on Tenerife in 1932 with the construction of The Real Club de Golf Tenerife in the north of the island. This undulating and tree lined course, which incidentally is the second oldest in the whole of Spain, has a distinctly English feel to its immaculately maintained fairways and greens.
Since those early days of the sport on the island, golf has emerged as the number one pass time on the Canary Island's and Tenerife now boasts at least six world class golf courses with one, designed by Seve Ballesteros, in the development stage at this moment in time.
