The Algarve is probably the best known part of Portugal and one of the best holiday destinations in the world. Washed in the south and west by the Atlantic and protected in the north by the mountain ranges makes for a mild climate.

Temperatures for the area average 24 degrees in the summer and 15 degrees in the winter, with the sun shining constantly for most of the year. The region benefits from 150 km of beaches, along which, the warm African wind blows providing endless possibilities for sports, such as horse riding, walking, diving, tennis and golf.
